THE Penrith Winter Droving event returns to the town on Saturday (October 28) and promises more entertainment, circus and carnie acts, market stalls and live music throughout the day. This magical day of rural celebration features a mix of fun, food, fire, masquerade and games. The tongue-in-cheek games consist of four events: Hay Bale Racing; Pint Carrying; Sausage Eating and a good old fashioned Tug-o-War! The winners take away the coveted Kyloes Drovers Cup. The day culminates in a spectacular torch and lantern procession when everyone involved wears a colourful mask.
