AN Ulverston teenager is set to represent England at a World Cup final after helping the young Three Lions eliminate Brazil on Wednesday (October 25).
Curtis Anderson, a former Crooklands Casuals player, has worn the number one shirt for England throughout the under-17 world cup in India, and played 90 minutes on Wednesday as Brazil were beaten 3-1 in Kolkata.
England took the lead through Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster, before Wesley equalised for Brazil when he reacted quickest to a parried save from Anderston.
Brewster restored the lead before the interval and completed his hat trick in the second half to put the game beyond The Seleção.
England will play the winner of the other semi final, between European champions Spain and Mali, in the final in Kolkata tomorrow (October 28).
