WESTMORLAND and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron has raised more than £800 for mental health charity South Lakeland Mind after running a half marathon in Kendal at the weekend.
Tim and running partner Dom Merchant were planning to run the Great Langdale Half Marathon on Saturday but the event was cancelled at the last minute due to concerns over Storm Brian.
Instead, Tim and Dom decided to do their own half marathon, running more than 14 miles across Kendal, taking in Scout Scar and The Helm.
