PLANS are brewing for four new homes on the site of a former Ulverston pub.
David Abbitt, of the Moorsolve Pension Scheme, is seeking consent for the three-bedroom, three-storey townhouses at Canal Street, where the Canal Tavern once stood. The pub was demolished several years ago.
A neighbour has made a plea for the pavement to be widened to help keep pedestrians safe from busy traffic on the nearby A590.
