THERE is still just time to make and drop off a Christmas shoebox for some of Romania's poorest children.
Local charity Boxes of Hope Cumbria is reminding people that Sunday (November 12) is the very last day for dropping off your gift-filled box and £2 donation.
Here is the list of drop-off points: Westmorland Gazette office, Wainwright’s Yard, Kendal; Frothimoon, Highgate, Kendal; Kendal Leisure Centre; Kendal Seat, Queen Katherine’s Avenue, Kendal; Mountain Goat Tours, Windermere; Wordsworth Hotel, Grasmere; Hayes Garden World, Ambleside; Hubble Bubble, Bowness; King’s Arms Hotel, Burton-in-Kendal; GR & RD Taylor, Kirkby Lonsdale; Kirkby Lonsdale and Grange-over-Sands tourist information centres; and Witherslack Community Shop.
