A SUMMERHOUSE planned for the garden of Oldfield Barn, Docker, near Kendal, met with approval.
South Lakeland District Council planning officers had recommended refusal of the plans by Mr and Mrs J Ellis. In a report, they said the timber and felt-roofed structure would have an "urbanizing, domesticating" effect on the area.
However, planning committee members voted to approve the detached summerhouse.
