FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in Ferry Nab, Bowness on Saturday (November 11).
The incident was reported at 11.45am and three fire engines from Windermere, Staveley and Ambleside attended.
Crews used two hose reel jets, two thermal imaging cameras and wearing four breathing apparatus to extinguish the first floor bedroom fire.
Crews were on the scene for one hour and 45 minutes.
