One lane of M6 closed due to an accident
One lane of the M6 is closed and heavy traffic is reported due to an accident southbound between Junction 36 at Crooklands and Junction 35 at Carnforth.
The incident involved a van being in collision with with motorway signs and cones. Nobody was injured.
Meanwhile, there is queueing traffic and traffic is heavier than normal due to a traffic lights problem on A590 both ways at Ulverston Road at Lindal-in-Furness. The traffic lights are reportedly not functioning as they should.
