DOG fouling on Milnthorpe's playing field has "become worse", Milnthorpe Parish Council heard.
Cllr Clare Lachmann called for action on the problem during the council's recent meeting.
Clerk John Scargill is to check when a new Public Space Protection Order will be implemented at the field. Dog owners who do not clear up after their pets can be fined £100 on-the-spot or up to £1,000 in court under such an order.
