Waste collections suspended
THERE will be no household waste or recycling collections across South Lakeland today (December 29) because of the ice and snow.
South Lakeland District Council is asking residents to leave their bins and any extra side waste out, as every effort will be made to collect this waste over the coming days.
Weather-permitting, our crews will be out tomorrow, Saturday, collecting Friday’s waste plus any extra waste and recyclables from areas which have been missed today.
