NEW housing minister Dominic Raab has been congratulated on his appointment by the trade bodies for estate agents and letting agents.
David Cox, chief executive of ARLA Propertymark, and Mark Hayward, chief executive of NAEA Propertymark, said they had been working closely with Alok Sharma in the role previously, alongside Sajid Javid as Communities Secretary.
The trade bodies say they have been suggesting ways of regulating the sector and making the process of buying, selling, renting or leasing a property better for consumers.
