Potato
THE Rusland Valley Horticultural Society will stage its fourth annual Potato Day at Greenodd Village Hall on Sunday.
Gardeners and allotment holders flock to the event from all over South Lakeland to buy goods supplied by Brighter Blooms of Preston, which will be selling more than 120 varieties of seed potatoes, onion sets, garlic, seeds, tubers, fruit bushes and trees.
The event supports the annual Rusland Show held in the summer.
