A CHARITY that helps disabled and disadvantaged people enjoy outdoor activities has kicked off its 40th anniversary year with a team-building away-day event.
The entire team from the Bendrigg Trust, based at Old Hutton, near Kendal, spent a day looking back at last year's successes and challenges, and planning for the 12 months ahead.
The programme was designed free of charge by experts from global development company Impact, which has an office at Windermere.
Senior consultant for Impact John Matthews said: "We are delighted to be able to offer our talents and energy to partner with the Bendrigg Trust in the phenomenal work they do."
Bendrigg principal Nick Liley described the day at the Merewood Country House Hotel, Windermere, as "really valuable in helping us to review 2017 and plan for 2018 which is shaping up to be an excellent year".
