EMERGENCY services have been dealing with a collision on the A683 at Middleton.
The incident, near Middleton Bridge between Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale, involved a HGV driven by a man.
Cumbria Roads Police said a wagon had shed a load of telegraph poles.
The road is now open and traffic is flowing freely.
The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
