THERE are hazardous driving conditions in Cumbria this morning (February 7) due to snow, with temperatures dropping to almost -10°C.
Roads affected:
- Newlands Pass closed due to snow between Buttermere and Braithwaite
- Honister Pass closed due to snow between Keswick and Loweswater
- Corney Fell Road closed due to snow between Corney and Duddon Bridge
- Hardknott Pass closed due to snow between Eskdale and Little Langdale
Temperatures were expected to drop overnight and therefore yesterday's snow could have turned to ice. Be careful if you are planning to drive this morning - check your journey in advance, and drive to the conditions. #DriveSafe https://t.co/9ETa2jZJ3Y
