Milnthorpe
SO-CALLED smiley speed signs are having "a noticeable effect" slowing down traffic in Milnthorpe, parish councillors heard.
A third device has now been installed, at Main Street, and speed statistics are being downloaded and analysed.
Milnthorpe Parish Council thanked Cllr Peter Capasso for his efforts on the scheme, and also thanked everyone who had helped pay for the project.
