THE Cumbria Overseas Aid Trust has given £950 to help save lives in Nepal.
The money will pay for an oxygen concentrator at a small health centre in Kolti, in the mountainous country's remote far west. The kit generates oxygen from the air for treating patients with pneumonia, lung and heart problems.
The trust's chair, Hilary Pickup, presented a cheque to Kathmandu GP Gerda Pohl.
