FOUR South Lakeland eateries have been targeted in a spate of burglaries.
Grasmere Tea Rooms and Green's Cafe and Bistro in Grasmere and the Great North Pie Company and the Fresher's Cafe in Ambleside were targeted in the early hours of Tuesday (February 13) morning.
An offender or offenders have thrown rocks through glass doors to gain or attempt to gain entry to the establishments.
Police believe that these incidents are linked and are keen to speak to anyone who might have any information.
They are particularly keen to speak to anyone who might have seen a dark coloured Ford Focus that was driving away from one of the scenes close to the time of the incidents.
Anyone with any information should contact Cumbria Police on 101, quoting log 76 of February 13 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
