TEN new lodges proposed for a holiday park near Endmoor village were refused by South Lakeland District Council.
The new static caravans at Gatebeck Caravan Park, Gatebeck Road, would be "conspicuous and detrimental" to the character of the nearby countryside, planners decided. They rejected the planning application by Chris Hulme, of South Lakeland Parks Ltd.
