To mark the 200th anniversary of The Westmorland Gazette in 2018, we are publishing a photograph from our archives on our website every day this year.
Today's photograph shows the chairman of Westmorland Federation of Women's Institutes after she was presented with a cheque for £250 from The Westmorland Gazette as part of the newspaper's 150th anniversary celebrations in 1968.
