AN EMPTY Flookburgh butchers shop could be converted to a house if plans are approved by South Lakeland District Council.
Ryan Appleby, of Grange-over-Sands, hopes to convert the former Market Street shop, beside the Hope & Anchor pub, into a one or two-bedroom dwelling. New windows would be fitted where needed, with a Velux window in the roof.
