The Grade II-listed property is to have its modern cashier's booth and record-shop sound-booth cupboards removed, to make way for the two-storey eatery with bar.
Staff living quarters on the top floor with two bedrooms are also proposed by applicant Mr S Miah, of Barrow-in-Furness.
