THE organisers of a popular Lake District rally event have had to postpone this year’s race because of the severe weather conditions.
The 2018 Malcolm Wilson Really was due to take place this weekend.
A statement of the event website read: “The organisers cannot guarantee the safe running of the event because of the weather and travelling conditions.
“We have therefore decided that it will be safer to postpone the event – a suitable date will be sought.
“This decision has been made with great reluctance as rallying is about tackling weather conditions but simply getting to the event is not part of the competition.”
