THE Royalty cinema at Bowness, is hosting a charity screening of the new Peter Rabbit movie in advance of its national release.
Peter Rabbit (PG) is a feature adaptation of Beatrix Potter's classic tale of a rebellious rabbit trying to sneak into a farmer's vegetable garden. James Corden is the voice of Peter with Margot Robbie, Daisy Ridley and Rose Byrne voicing other creatures. Human characters are played by Domhnall Gleeson and Sam Neill.
The film will be screened at 3.15pm on Sunday, March 11, and the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction at Bowness, will be offering a tour of its attraction beforehand. Proceeds will be given to two local charities - the Association for the Independence of Disabled People, based in Windermere, and Bendrigg Trust neat Kendal, which does fantastic work to enable disabled and disadvantaged people of all ages to enjoy the wonderful outdoors and the Lakeland scenery that inspired Beatrix Potter.
