A LOW Bentham resident has asked for "dangerous parking" around homes at Crow Trees to be solved.
Bentham Town Council heard double yellow lines had always been "shied away" from in discussions with highways officers, as it was thought they would "move the problem elsewhere".
However, councillors agreed the dangers of cars existing Crow Trees must be addressed.
They are to ask North Yorkshire County Council for a site meeting to discuss the idea of double yellow lines.
Meanwhile, various potholes have been reported and the council is to ask a highways engineer to come out and "look at the poor state of the roads locally".
