LAKES-based explorer and TV presenter Paul Rose will share his adventurous work in support of science during a special charity event at the Old Laundry Theatre, Bowness-on-Windermere, tomorrow (Wednesday), at 7.30pm.
The talk, organised by the Rotary Club of Windermere, aims to raise funds for the Air Ambulance, Mountain Rescue and WaterAid.
Paul will share tales of diving under Antarctic and Arctic ice, surviving a polar bear attack, diving in the ocean’s last wild places and climbing in Greenland.
The talk will alsoinclude film and images and there will be a sneak preview of some of Paul's new BBC2 series – The Lake District.
