ROSE Community Theatre starts its three-night run of War of the Noses on Thursday (March 15, 7.30pm) at Sedbergh People's Hall. The family show is a musical comedy with a pantomime flavour with a plot that loosely follows the fortunes (or misfortunes?) of Henry VI, Edward IV and Richard the Nerd before the Houses of Lancaster and York were succeeded by the Tudors. A blend of humorous skulduggery and rousing songs, there are also performances on Friday and Saturday (March 16/17) both 7.30pm. Tickets are available from Sedbergh Mini Market, No 6 Finkle Street and the information centre.
