A NEW Kendal coffee roaster is seeking planning consent for a flue.
The bean-roasting business is being established at former offices at Kendal Business Park, Appleby Road.
The flue would extract steam from inside the building. The 20kg roaster is described as "not of an industrial scale" but similar to those found in coffee shops.
Plans have been lodged with South Lakeland District Council by Mr R Ellison.
