THE aroma of freshly baked bread would be a selling point for 35 per cent of Brits viewing houses, according to a survey by website Appliances Direct.
Eighty-six per cent of people asked said the smell of a property could make the difference between putting in an offer or not. Coffee was the second most popular scent, followed by clean laundry, fresh flowers and an open fire.
