AN EXHIBITION focusing on the role local residents played in World War 1 was held at St James The Less Church, Lower Tatham.
The exhibition included army uniforms and other items of kit, weaponry, medals, letters and other documents provided by Steven Roberts and David Hartnup and several items that were brought along by local residents.
In addition to the display of artefacts and memorabilia, three talks were given by local historians Stephen Roberts, Mike Winstanley and John Wilson on the involvement in the war of men and women from Lower Tatham and Tatham Fells, whose names are commemorated in the churches of St James The Less and the Good Shepherd at Lowgill.
