Plants lovers are likely to flock to Holker Hall this weekend with the return of Flower Power Fairs.

The event on Sunday, April 22 will see a huge selection of quality plants grown by some of the very best Northern plant specialists and growers.

The fair takes place near to the courtyard and gift shop and will be open from 10.30am-4pm.

Flower Power Fairs, established more than 11 years ago, includes nurseries from Scotland, Cumbria, Yorkshire and Cheshire.

“All the nurseries grow their own plants and bring you a huge diversity of plants, always of the best quality and I hand pick each participant for their high standards, selection of plants on sale and presentation and plant knowledge," said organiser Judy Popley.

A huge choice of Spring flowering plants will be on sale including bulbs, flowering shrubs and trees and many of the stands offer unusual plants for sale.

Flower Power has been promoting bee, butterfly and insect friendly plants as well as encouraging gardeners to Buy British, Buy Local.

Admission to the Plant Fair will be free and there will also be a local produce market within the courtyard.
