A LAKE District lounge bar is to host the preliminary auditions of a national television contest.
Baha, at Bowness-on-Windermere, is preparing to hold auditions for ITV's The Voice 2019.
Those successful will go on to another audition before progressing to the live shows.
There are 30 10-minute slots available on Friday May 11 from 1pm to 6pm.
On Saturday May 12, there will also be a live performance at the venue, at Ash Street, from
Jolan Gidney-Craigen, the runner up of The Voice's fifth season in 2016.
"It's going to show Baha off and as we're trying to be a live music venue, it's exactly what we want," said Clyde Mason, Baha's music and events manager.
"We've also been told it's the first time one of the major TV talent shows has held auditions in the South Lakes area."
