Kendal person, 52, arrested after armed police investigate council threat
A 52-YEAR-OLD from Kendal has been arrested following an investigation into a threat made to Cumbria County Council employees today (April 25).
Kendal's Busher Walk and Carlisle's Parkhouse were shut down this afternoon and armed police were deployed to both premises as a precaution.
There was no perceived threat to the wider public, and this is not being treated as a terrorist incident.
