The former New Rioad car park in Kendal which is now a recreation area
WHAT a pleasure during bank holiday weekend to walk along the riverside path by the newly grassed area replacing the New Road car park at Kendal.
Many others were also enjoying the space.
Congratulations to those who had the vision and determination to carry through this project. We now look forward to the reinstatement of the footbridge over to Gooseholme.
