FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a flat in Windermere on Saturday (May 19).
Crews attended the Church Street property at 1.50am.
The fire involved food which had been left unattended on a cooker in the kitchen.

One casualty was assisted from the flat suffering from the effects of smoke and given oxygen therapy by the fire crew.
The ambulance service also attended and the fire crew were in attendance for an hour and five minutes.
