Milnthorpe
A NEW bench has been suggested for the verge near Croftside care home, in Milnthorpe, to help elderly and infirm people on their way to and from the village.
Cllr Peter Capasso raised the idea at Milnthorpe Parish Council's recent meeting.
Cllr Barbara Adair said a yellow sign on the A6 southern approach had been vandalised, and Cllr Roger Bingham asked for the A6 milestone to be repainted.
Broken doors on electricity meters on properties around The Square were flagged up by Cllr Jim Robson.
