A FAMILY-owned holiday site at Hale hopes to replace 20 touring caravan pitches with 20 timber lodges.
Beetham Holiday Homes was established by the Russell family in 1970, and they are proposing individually designed holiday units with irregular shapes and roofs. The two-hectare site currently has 148 static caravans and 20 touring pitches, according to plans lodged with South Lakeland District Council.
