YOUNGSTERS at Ambleside CE Primary School staged their own version of the Royal wedding.
Early years pupils were joined by parents and friends for a celebratory lunch, and they hosted a "double role-play wedding" at St Mary's Church after designing dresses and decorating a cake.
Village florist Joanne Dann, of Lilylou's, also visited the class to talk about flowers and show the children how to make a hand-tied bouquet.
