To mark the 200th anniversary of The Westmorland Gazette in 2018, we are publishing a photograph from our archives on our website every day this year.
Today's photograph shows strongman Geoff Capes, who was at Kendal in 1994 breaking a world record by lifting a line of 20 building bricks and beating the previous record by four.
