Woman, 64, rescued from car
A 64-YEAR-OLD woman was rescued from her car yesterday (June 5) after a collision in Cowgill.
Firefighters were called at 2.31pm to the red Toyota Auris, which was overhanging a river.
On arrival the crews secured the vehicle and removed the woman, who was from Bury, safely from it.
