THE Lake District has been ranked 12th among top places to buy a holiday home for best return on investment.
Kissimmee, among Florida’s theme parks, topped the chart compiled by online holiday home insurer Schofields, with a 26 per cent return.
Barcelona was second, followed by Cornwall, Nice, Italy's Lake Garda and Venetian Riviera, Miami, Marbella, Portugal's Faro and Albufeira, Avignon in France, the Lake District, and Croatia's Split and Pula.
