FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a Kendal property yesterday (June 12) afternoon.
Crews from Staveley and Windermere were called at 1.55pm to reports of a kitchen fire on Helme Drive.
Upon arrival they found that the fire was contained to a kitchen cupboard.
The team used four breathing apparatus and a dry powder extinguisher to tackle the fire.
They then used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.
Crews were in attendance for approximately 50 minutes
