A 50-YEAR-OLD male cyclist was taken to Furness General Hospital after a crash near Waterhead today (Wednesday).
The collision involved the cyclist and a silver Citroën C3 driven by a 46-year-old woman from Kendal.
Police and ambulance services were called to the scene at 11.59am.
A spokesperon for Cumbria Police said that they believe the cyclist's injuries were minor.
The road is now clear.
