POLICE have been made aware of a potential connectivity issue for O2 customers in the LA22 area of Cumbria due to a telephone mast being down.
While the mast remains down, O2 customer may not be able to contact police on 101 while calling from your mobile.
Police have been assured that there are no issues with the connecting of 999 calls.
If you experience an issue O2 customers can:
• Phone 101 through your wifi
• Make a call to 101 while out of the affected area
• Use a phone on a different network or landline to contact 101
• Email a report or query to: 101@cumbria.police.uk
The mast is set to remain down until around August 22, 2018.
Please contact your mobile provider for any issues regarding your phone service.
