A WOMAN in her twenties was flown to hospital after falling from a horse and sustaining a neck injury on Friday (June 29).
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) were called to Cartmel Racecourse at 5.28pm.
She was assessed and treated by the GNAAS paramedic and doctor team before being flown to Royal Preston Hospital.
The flight took 18 minutes and she arrived in a stable condition.
