BRITAIN'S builders enjoyed a surge in work in June as growth reached a seven-month high, according to new figures.
Housebuilding was the best performer in the sector, according to the industry report from Markit/CIPS UK.
It marked the third month in a row of sustained recovery since the "Beast from the East" disrupted construction sites back in March with severe wintry weather.
