AN AUDIENCE at Kendal’s Brewery Arts Centre enjoyed a sneak peak of Paul Rose’s newest series on Tuesday.

Two episodes of The Lakes with Paul Rose were shown, the first focusing on Windermere and the second on Derwentwater and Borrowdale.

Paul, who has lived in Windermere for the past 20 years, takes the helm of a boat on the lake, enjoys wild swimming and climbs Orrest Head in the first episode.

In the second episode, he looks back on the impact of Storm Desmond in 2015, joins the crew of a Viking longboat and ends his journey at the top of Great Gable.

The Brewery event included a chat with radio presenter Caz Graham and a question and answer session with the audience.

The new four-part series starts on Friday July 20, with episode three focusing on Coniston and episode four on Eskdale.

It will be shown first on BBC One in the North at 7.30pm, followed by a network BBC Two showing in the autumn.
