Emergency services dealing with 'major incident' close to Ingleton
REPORTS are reaching the Gazette newsdesk that the emergency services are currently dealing with an incident on the A65 close to Ingleton.
North Yorkshire Police confirmed that officers are currently at the scene of an incident close to Whinny Mire Farm near to the former Goat Gap Inn.
A motorist calling in to the Gazette newsdesk from the Settle bypass said: "Six police vehicles have just passed me heading towards Ingleton, all at speed, blues and twos along with two ambulances.
"There is also a helicopter overhead. It looks like a major incident."
