SIX of the original Calendar Girls will be attending a public event at a Yorkshire Dales attraction next week.
They will be at the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes with their families marking the opening of a new exhibition which tells their remarkable story.
From 2.30pm on Tuesday, visitors to the museum will be able to meet and chat to the Daleswomen who have helped raise more than £5 million for the cancer charity, Bloodwise.
Museum manager Fiona Rosher said: "Twenty Years of the Calendar Girls’ is our uplifting summer exhibition.
"The Calendar Girls’ story shows that out of tragedy, good can come. The ‘girls’ are keen to meet members of the public; they are always lively company, so do consider coming along next week.”
