A TV CLIP featuring a leading South Lakes attraction has been voted by the public as its favourite in a special anniversary edition of BBC's Countryfile.

The Predator Experience at Ayside was on Countryfile back in 2016.

Presenter John Craven enjoyed the Walking with Wolves experience so much that he chose it as one of his top five 'magic moments', which were then put to a public vote.

And at the end of Sunday's (July 22) episode, which celebrated 30 years of the show, it was revealed that the clip had won the vote.

"We were having a roast dinner at the time and we nearly threw it on the ceiling," said Dee Ashman, who runs the business with husband Daniel. "We were so excited, we we just so pleased.

"It was just such an honour. The whole thing has been such an honour because I grew up with John Craven. It's somebody we have known of all our lives. He is just as lovely in real life as he is on the TV."

The special anniversary edition of Countryfile also featured fell-running legend Joss Naylor, Watchtree Nature Reserve, University of Cumbria students at Foulshaw Moss, brothers Ed and Joe Towers from Brades Farm in Farleton and a trip to Ullswater.
